Hideki Matsuyama finally collected his breakthrough PGA Tour victory Sunday at the Memorial despite not having a driver in his bag when facing Kevin Na in a playoff.
Matsuyama snapped his driver, a Srixon ZR 30, out of frustration after hitting his tee shot on Muirfield Village’s 18th hole (he had made double bogey and bogey on the previous two holes). However, he went on to make birdie on the 18th to force the playoff with Na.
Here's what the 22-year-old Japanese star had in his bag:
Ball: Srixon Z Star XV
Driver: Srixon ZR 30 (Graphite Design Tour AD-DI 8TX), 10.5 degrees
3-wood: Callaway RAZR X Black, 15 degrees
Hybrid: TourStage X-UT, 19 degrees
Irons (3): Srixon Z 945 (4-9): Srixon Z 925; (PW): Cleveland 588 RTX CB
Wedges: Cleveland CG 17 Tour (54, 60 degrees)
Putter: Scotty Cameron by Titleist SC-GSS
